SigaMent FU 631

SigaMent FU 631 is suitable for bedding and jointing tiles, bricks and moldings made of ceramic or carbon for the production of chemically, thermally and mechanically resistant coatings and linings. Due to the relatively high shrinkage, SigaMent FU 631 should not be used as a bedding mortar for large-area flooring. When used in tanks or vessels for jointing bricks and tiles, the shrinkage does not have a negative effect. SigaMent FU 631 is particularly suitable for brick-lining chemical apparatus (reactors, columns, gas scrubbers, etc.) exposed to high temperatures and aggressive chemicals.

SigaMent SP 660

2-component halogen-free potassium silicate putty

SigaMent SP 660 is suitable for bedding and jointing acid-resistant ceramic tiles, bricks, brick-lining of vessels, apparatus and chimneys. SigaMent SP 660 has a good water and rinse resistance, which allows over-rinsing in the acidic range over a period of several weeks, but does not allow continuous service. If a high level of resistance to scouring or abrasion is required, jointing should be carried out with resin-bonded SIGAS putty. With the exception of hydrofluoric acid, SigaMent SP 660 is resistant to all acids, oxidizing substances, oils and greases, but not to alkalis.

SigaMent SP 661

Potassium silicate putty with increased thermal resistance

SigaMent SP 661 serves as a temperature-resistant and chemically resistant mortar for linings with refractory and acid-proof bricks. SigaMent SP 661 is suitable for all refractory brick-linings for which you do not want to use fireclay mortar or because its mechanical strength and / or chemical resistance is not high enough. In particular, drying processes can be shortened by using SigaMent SP 661, since the mixing takes place without the addition of water and dry bricks must be laid.

SigaMent SP 661 has proven itself in applications in kilns such as rotary kilns, drying drums, roasting ovens, sulphate ovens, and in particular those exposed to SO2 gas or SO3 gas, and which are within the temperature range in which refractory mortars are resistant, ie in the furnace on cooled walls, eg boiler walls or T-joints in boilers. With the exception of hydrofluoric acid, SigaMent SP 661 is resistant to all acids, oxidizing substances, oils and greases, but not to alkalis.

Halogen-free potassium silicate putty

SigaMent SP 662 is used as a corrosion protection for larger building and vessel surfaces that are dimensionally stable (torsion-free), used as a monolithic coating. Predominantly steel surfaces are suitable for the coating, such as tubular steel chimneys, cowpers and cyclones. Not recommended is a coating for liquid storage tanks made of steel.

Gray, 3-component, cold-curing synthetic resin putty

SigaMent EP 674 is suitable for bedding and jointing tiles, bricks and moldings made of ceramic for the production of chemically, thermally and mechanically resistant coatings and linings. Due to the dense nature and the good compatibility of the product with concrete, it is often possible to dispense with a special sealing layer.
